Ash

Ash is a wood that fits alot of requirements very well.

It's relitibely light weight, perfect for maknig bodies, and not hurting the back very much.  It's clean in color and accepts stains and paints well. 

But there isn't anything like seeing someone's face when you mention it's actual Ash.. That is what makes it worth it.
